LebNet, a 501c3 non-profit organization, was founded in 1999 in Silicon Valley and today welcomes and empowers a network of 2500+ Lebanese diaspora members in Tech across the United States and Canada. The organization is structured into regional and professional communities, with diverse backgrounds ranging from Fortune 500 managers and C-level executives to venture capitalists, start-up founders, entrepreneurs, academics, high-tech professionals, consultants, and small business owners.

The core mission of LebNet is to empower tech entrepreneurs and professionals of Lebanese descent to succeed on a global level while promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.

To achieve its primary objective, LebNet focuses on three key pillars:

  • Building a Network among Members: The organization aims to facilitate career coaching and mentorship opportunities for tech professionals and entrepreneurs, while organizing premium events that foster networking and collaboration. LebNet also provides leadership opportunities to its members and strives to shape the future of the tech industry in Lebanon.
  • Nurturing the Next Generation: LebNet is dedicated to supporting the youth by offering internships, job referrals, workshops, webinars, and mentoring opportunities. It also provides resources for early-career professionals and student networks to help them develop their skills and build their careers in the tech industry.
  • Connecting and Giving Back to Lebanon: LebNet aims to promote Lebanon as a hub for innovation and development by supporting startups and entrepreneurs through initiatives such as the Silicon Valley Residence. The organization also partners with academic and tech institutions in Lebanon, provides fundraising assistance, and helps to create demand for Lebanese technical expertise.


LebNet, a non-profit organization, serves as a multi-faceted platform for Lebanese professionals residing in the US and Canada, entrepreneurs, investors, business partners in a broad technology eco-system, and acts as a bridge to their counterparts in Lebanon and the rest of the Middle East
