The LebNet Early in Career Committee is hosting a 2023 Scholarship program. The program will award six $1000 stipends intended for senior Lebanese engineering students from different Lebanese universities planning to pursue their graduate studies in the U.S. or Canada. The funds are to be used to defray initial travel expenses to the students. The recipient will also be assigned a LebNet mentor to assist their graduate studies journey, including guidance through the graduate school application process, increased connection with Lebanese clubs and students in their target university, etc.

The scholarship application will be open from early March to mid-April. The selection process will be merit based and the following assessment criteria will be required from the students:

  • Letter of acceptance and proof of enrollment in US or Canadian University
  • Resume
  • Transcript
  • GRE scores
  •  Any other supporting documents (recommendation letters, etc.)

    The selected recipients will be informed by April 30th.
