EDITORIAL NOTE

Celebrating the Conclusion of the LebNet Tech Fellows Program

As we conclude the LebNet Tech Fellows Program 2024, we extend our deepest gratitude to Aya Mouallem for her unwavering passion and dedication. Aya has been the driving force behind this fellowship program, tirelessly working to empower Lebanese youth in technology, particularly uplifting women. Her relentless pursuit of creating opportunities and fostering growth is truly inspiring.

Special thanks to Mariam Dabboussi, Hussein Mozannar, and Lama Ahmad, who collaborated with Aya this year to craft an exceptional curriculum. Their hard work and commitment provided our tech fellows with valuable industry exposure and practical knowledge, shaping the program's success.

Heartfelt appreciation goes to all the lecturers for their engaging and insightful sessions. Additionally, thanks to the Early in Career team for their invaluable mentorship, which has been crucial to our fellows' development. A special thank you to last year's cohort participants, whose volunteering with the logistics for this year's program was invaluable!

To all 81 remarkable tech fellows in our second cohort: your dedication and enthusiasm have been outstanding. You have gained significant knowledge and personal growth through this experience. Hosting you at the various sessions has been an absolute pleasure, and we sincerely wish you a bright and successful future. Remember that LebNet is here to support you with any mentoring or coaching needs. Your potential and passion give us great hope for the future of Lebanese youth in technology and for Lebanon.

Lastly, our gratitude goes to Nicole Bou Farhat from LAU and Nadine Nakad from AUB for making this fellowship completion ceremony truly memorable.
