On October 7, more than 50 attendees gathered in Toronto for AI for Good: How Can It Shape a More Inclusive and Impactful Future?, a fireside chat featuring Christophe Zoghbi, Founder & CEO of ZAKA, and Jamil Mina, North America Tech Sales Leader at Red Hat, who served as moderator.
The discussion explored the responsible use of AI, how to make AI accessible to everyone, and the role of Lebanese innovators and the broader tech community in shaping an inclusive digital future.
The event drew an engaged audience representing a wide range of roles and career paths: from students and researchers to entrepreneurs, product managers, and technology leaders. The room’s energy was contagious, with conversations continuing well beyond the scheduled end time.
Ray Lahoud, LebNet Toronto Community Leader, opened the evening with an overview of LebNet’s mission and the leadership team’s vision to foster collaboration and connection among Lebanese professionals in tech.

It’s not about machines replacing humans, it’s about humans using AI to amplify impact and create a better tomorrow,” said guest Christophe Zoghby, who also shared how much he enjoyed the event and the energy of the crowd.
