LebNet Mid-Atlantic hosted an engaging evening on “Breaking Into Tech: Tools to Launch Your Journey,” bringing together around 40 members of the community,professionals and students eager to explore how to enter or pivot into technology, data, and AI.

The discussion, moderated by Moukhtar Nsouli (Senior Implementation Manager, Kyruus Health), featured Keenan Moukarzel (Head of Analytics Tools & Services, KeyBank) and Ranyah Salous (Director of Technology Solutions, AI & Data, Guidehouse). Panelists shared personal stories of transitioning into tech from diverse fields, underscoring that success starts with curiosity, persistence, and continuous learning. They encouraged attendees to start small, through low-code tools, data projects, or free online resources, and to leverage existing skills to create unique value in tech.

The event also highlighted emerging opportunities in AI, analytics, and low-code platforms, where accessibility and creativity are opening doors for newcomers. Zazzy Restaurant provided a hip venue and delicious food, adding to the evening’s warm, community-driven atmosphere.
