On October 23, LebNet Boston hosted an inspiring and forward-looking panel at MIT titled “AI at the Frontiers of Biotech, MedTech, and Drug Discovery,” bringing together leading voices at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the life sciences. The conversation explored how AI is accelerating discovery, and opening new possibilities in human health.

The panel featured Louis Attallah, a pioneer in clinical AI with technologies deployed in over 1,000 ICUs; Talal Ali Ahmad, Founder and CEO of Predictive Healthcare and creator of the AI wound-monitoring platform MyHealthPal™; and Tarek Fadel, Director of Strategic Alliances at MIT’s Marble Center for Cancer Nanomedicine, leading partnerships that advance cancer innovation. The discussion was moderated by Léa El Khoury, Group Leader in Computational Chemistry at Qubit Pharmaceuticals.

The discussion opened with each panelist sharing their journey into the AI–life sciences space and reflecting on AI’s rapidly evolving impact. Panelists emphasized how AI could enable faster research cycles, discussed the technical and scientific challenges that still slow AI deployment in hospitals, labs, and industry.
