Our Programs There is still time to join the LebNet WiT Mentorship program: The Women in Tech Mentorship program application deadline is extended to Mid-November. This Program is to empower and support women professionals in their early/mid careers in tech by fostering meaningful connections between mentors and mentees. The virtual program will pair experienced professionals (male and female mentors are welcome) with women mentees seeking guidance and support. Join here for mentors and/or mentees. Applications for the Second Edition of the Fellowship Program: The LebNet Tech Fellows program is now open for applications for the 2024 cohort. The program is set to run virtually from January to June 2024, and is available to undergraduate students in technical majors at Lebanese universities who are not in their senior year. Seminar on ‘Moving the Edge from Imaging to Vision’ On the 10th of October, the American University of Beirut's Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, in partnership with LebNet, organized a seminar entitled 'Moving the Edge from Imaging to Vision’, given by Professor Charbel Rizk, the founder and CEO of Oculi. The seminar, which was attended by 35 AUB students, delved into significant advancements in artificial intelligence, addressing issues related to power consumption and latency in systems designed for continuous operation in edge applications, and covered various other topics. |
