Organization: LebNet (501(c)(3) Nonprofit)
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: Part-Time Contractor (20-30 hours per week, flexible)
Working Hours: Flexible, with some alignment to Pacific Time as needed
Reports to: Executive Director


ABOUT LEBNET:

Founded in 1999 in Silicon Valley, LebNet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to welcoming, empowering, and connecting the Lebanese tech diaspora across the United States and Canada. Today, LebNet serves a growing network of 4,000+ members, spanning diverse professional tech backgrounds, from Fortune 500 managers and C-level executives to venture capitalists, startup founders, entrepreneurs, academics, engineers, consultants, and small business owners.

LebNet is organized into regional and professional communities, currently 15 in total (13 geographic and 2 professional), which form the backbone of the organization. Through these communities and its flagship programs, LebNet advances its core mission: to empower tech entrepreneurs and professionals of Lebanese descent to succeed globally, nurture youth of Lebanese heritage, and give back to Lebanon.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The LebNet Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives across the organization. This role is essential to keeping initiatives on track, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, with clarity and accountability.

Working closely with the Executive Director, program leads, and strategic initiative champions, the Project Manager will help translate plans into action and drive execution across multiple workstreams. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and excels at turning ideas into results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Support the planning and execution of current and strategic initiatives across programs, communities, fundraising, and operations
  • Break initiatives into clear project plans with timelines, milestones, owners, and dependencies
  • Track progress, flag risks, and ensure timely follow-through

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a central point of coordination across programs, communities, contractors, board members, and volunteer leaders
  • Facilitate regular project check-ins and working sessions
  • Document decisions, action items, and next steps, and follow up to ensure completion

3. Strategic Initiative Support

  • Assist with the rollout of new initiatives, and organizational priorities
  • Support strategic planning efforts by translating goals into actionable workstreams
  • Help align short-term execution with longer-term organizational strategy

4. Process & Operational Enablement

  • Establish and maintain simple, repeatable project management processes and templates
  • Improve visibility into project status across initiatives
  • Help standardize how LebNet plans, tracks, and executes work

5. Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare project updates, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations across initiatives
  • Support cross-team alignment and accountability

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or program coordination
    • Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
    • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
    • Comfortable working independently in a distributed, volunteer-driven environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with nonprofit, tech, or community-based organizations is a plus
