Job Title: LebNet Content & Video Creator

Organization: LebNet (501(c)(3) Nonprofit)

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: Part-Time Contractor (8-10 hours/week)

Working Hours: Flexible

Reports to: Executive Director


ABOUT LEBNET:

Founded in 1999 in Silicon Valley, LebNet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to welcoming, empowering, and connecting the Lebanese tech diaspora across the United States and Canada. Today, LebNet serves a growing network of 4,000+ members, spanning diverse professional tech backgrounds, from Fortune 500 managers and C-level executives to venture capitalists, startup founders, entrepreneurs, academics, engineers, consultants, and small business owners.

LebNet is organized into regional and professional communities, currently 15 in total (13 geographic and 2 professional), which form the backbone of the organization. Through these communities and its flagship programs, LebNet advances its core mission: to empower tech entrepreneurs and professionals of Lebanese descent to succeed globally, nurture youth of Lebanese heritage, and give back to Lebanon.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The LebNet Content & Video Creator is responsible for producing engaging written and visual content that brings LebNet’s stories, programs, and leaders to life. This role focuses on creation, storytelling, and repurposing content for digital channels.

This role owns the how it looks, feels, and sounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Written Content Creation

  • Write announcements, newsletters, social posts, website articles and member profiles, and event recaps
  • Turn events, panels, and programs into reusable content
  • Work with Communication specialist to maintain a shared content library of visuals, clips, and copy blocks
  • Adapt messaging into platform-specific formats
  • Edit and refine content for clarity and tone

2. Video & Visual Storytelling

  • Create short-form videos for social platforms (event highlights, testimonials, spotlights)
  • Edit clips, captions, and simple motion graphics
  • Repurpose long-form content into social-friendly formats

3. Expert Repository & Knowledge Management

  • Create and maintain a centralized repository of experts and speakers by community, domain, and area of expertise
  • Partner with community leaders to identify and validate experts across regions
  • Support programming, panels, partnerships, and media requests
  • Help collect bios, quotes, and short clips for the expert repository

4. Editorial Direction & Content Planning

  • Own and manage a centralized editorial calendar aligned with organizational priorities
  • Define content themes and messaging frameworks
  • Coordinate content inputs from program leads and community teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years in content creation, social media, or digital storytelling
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience with short-form video tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.
  • Strong project management and brand stewardship skills
  • Experience with nonprofits, tech, or community-based organizations is a strong plus
