Prior to this role, Ford Tamer held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Inphi for over nine years, guiding the company through its merger with Marvell. Under his leadership, Inphi emerged as the market leader in electro-optics solutions for cloud and telecom operators. The revenue from these customers surged more than 20 times during his tenure, reaching an annual run rate of approximately $750 million. Notably, the Inphi stock price experienced remarkable growth, increasing more than 20 times and culminating in the significant acquisition by Marvell, valued at approximately $10 billion. Dr. Tamer earned his Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Engineering from MIT.
