Women in Tech 

Women in Tech (WiT) is a LebNet professional community launched to guide, coach and support the next generation of Women in Tech leaders and grow the LebNet Women in Tech constituency.

Several initiatives and future plans fall under the WiT Community. We divided them by three main personas: students, professionals and entrepreneurs.


  • Internships and Job referrals
  • Girls Stem programs in collaboration with top Lebanese Universities



  • Specifically target women entrepreneurs during LebNet Ignite
  • Mentor, coach and help with fundraising

Our community is currently looking for a steering committee. If you meet the below criteria and are interested in being part of our community, send us an email at [email protected] 

Criteria for Women in Tech Steering Committee:

  • Must hold a High tech/Biotech university degree
  • Working or have worked in the High tech/Biotech industry
  • Holding or have held leadership positions
  • Is passionate about:
  1. Women in tech growth Initiatives
  2. Creating women opportunities in tech
  3. Networking with other women in tech
  4. Attracting young girls to tech
  5. Encouraging retention of women in high tech
  6. Mentoring other women
  7. Growing our LebNet Women community
  8. Passionate about being of Lebanese descent and focused on improving the environment for Women in Tech in Lebanon

Job Requirements

  • The job requires around 5 hours of work per month
  • Initially bi-monthly 1-hour meetings to get the community established and going
  • Focusing on a set of initiatives related to the below (just to name a few):
  1. Setting up 2 Women in Tech related Webinars per year
  2. Women in tech video interviews (one per month)
  3. Giving back to Lebanon
  4. Mentoring: Giving and receiving
  5. Women networking events
  6. Growing the community

LebNet, a non-profit organization, serves as a multi-faceted platform for Lebanese professionals residing in the US and Canada, entrepreneurs, investors, business partners in a broad technology eco-system, and acts as a bridge to their counterparts in Lebanon and the rest of the Middle East
