George Boutros – CEO Qatalyst

George joined Qatalyst as a Partner in 2010, and was appointed to Chief Executive Officer in January 2016. Prior to joining Qatalyst, George was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse where he most recently served as Chairman of its Global Technology Group and Chairman of its Global Healthcare Group, and also served as Vice Chairman of its Corporate and Investment Banking department. Prior to that, George held a number of positions with Credit Suisse, including Co-Head of Global Technology Banking and Co-Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 1998, George was a Managing Director with Deutsche Bank Securities and Head of its Technology Group's Global Mergers & Acquisitions activities. Prior to Deutsche Bank, George was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, heading M&A activities in the western United States.

George has 30 years of investment banking experience and has advised on more than 450 completed transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, hostile takeovers, takeover defenses, leveraged buyouts, financings, stock buybacks, spinoffs and leveraged recapitalizations. George advised Ascend on its sale to Lucent for $24B, The Blackstone Group on its $17.6B acquisition of Freescale Semiconductor, Concur on its $8.3B sale to SAP, Google on its acquisitions of YouTube for $1.7B and DoubleClick for $3.1B, HomeAway on its sale to Expedia for $3.9B, Informatica on its sale to Permira for $5.3B, KLA-Tencor on its pending sale to Lam Research for $11.5B, Linear Technology on its pending sale to Analog Devices for $14.8B, LinkedIn on its pending sale to Microsoft for $28.1B, LSI on its $6.6B sale to Avago Technologies, Motorola Mobility on its sale to Google for $12.5B, National Semiconductor on its sale to Texas Instruments for $6.5B, NetSuite on its pending sale to Oracle for $9.4B, Pixar on its sale to Disney for $7.4B, Sun Microsystems on its sale to Oracle for $7.1B, and VERITAS on its $20B acquisition of Seagate Technology (and spinout of the disk drive business to Silver Lake).

George received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and his M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.


Khaled Nasr – COO, InterWest Partners

Khaled joined InterWest's IT team in 2005 and has focused on investments in mobile, cloud and data center infrastructure, including systems, software and semiconductors. In 2016, he became InterWest’s chief operating officer, and is responsible for all of the firm’s financial, fundraising, investor relations and administrative functions. Khaled will continue as a director of Aryaka,  DataRPM, InVisageTechnologies, Pivot3 and Xirrus.

Prior to joining InterWest, Khaled invested in IT companies for Alta Partners where his investments included Synad (acquired by ST Microelectronics), Netli (acquired by Akamai), Celetronix (acquired by Jabil) and Occam Networks (OCNW; acquired by Calix). Prior to that, he spent 16 years in sales, marketing and general management positions with a succession of successful networking and telecommunications startups. He was president and chief executive officer of FlowWise Networks and general manager and vice president, International at Ipsilon. Before that, Khaled served as chief operating officer at Advanced Computer Communications (ACC), and as vice president of marketing and services with Premisys Communications. From 1987 to 1992, Khaled served as vice president of network services with Newbridge Networks.

Khaled received his B.A. and M.A. in mathematics and social and political sciences from Cambridge University
