Speakers

Sami Ghoche


Sami is co-founder of Forethought, a Silicon Valley AI company. Prior to Forethought, Sami was a senior machine learning engineer at LinkedIn on the Feed AI team. He is a Kairos Fellow and holds both a BS and MS in Computer Science from Harvard University

 

Nadim Cheaib


Nadim is a product manager in the AI research group at Google. He is responsible for bringing AI technologies into Search and the Assistant. Prior to this role, Nadim was a principal in the internal consulting team at Google, advising company execs on high-priority business and product strategy matters. He received his B.Eng. in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut and his MBA from Columbia Business School, and started his career as a consultant for Booz & Company based out of Beirut. 


Jay Reinemann


As a partner at Propel Venture Partners, Jay invests in early-stage companies that are leveraging technology to transform financial services. He has led investments in Coinbase, Neon, Conekta, DocuSign, and Personal Capital, among others. Before BBVA spun off the fund and became a limited partner, Jay led BBVA Ventures and the global bank’s acquisition of Simple. Prior to Propel, Jay held several senior roles at Visa in digital transformation, emerging projects, and e-commerce. As head of the Visa Corporate Ventures and Strategic Alliances group he led investments in information security, mobile, and payments technology companies. He first came to Visa through his work with Andersen Consulting. Jay’s career spans traditional banking to tech startups: He was a commercial loan officer at Old Kent Financial Corporation—back before it became part of Fifth Third—and helped launch Sohalo, a social commerce platform.


Moderator

Fadi Zoghzoghy


Fadi is the Chief Technology Officer of BridgeAthletic, a sport-tech startup based in San Francisco. He oversees product and engineering, and has lead the build of BridgeAthletic from the ground up. Prior to BridgeAthletic, Fadi received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2010) and his M.S. and Ph.D at Stanford University (2015). Fadi has served on the board of LebNet since 2018.
