On March 7th, LebNet San Diego is thrilled to host Gabriel Rebeiz, Professor at University of California San Diego, for a fireside chat and a Bireme award recognition ceremony.  

Professor Rebeiz, with over 35 years as a professor at UCSD and at the University of Michigan in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), is celebrated globally for his technological advancements, and is recognized as a worldwide innovator in the RF/Microwave/Antenna field. In addition, Prof. Rebeiz has founded 2 startups, consults for top 100 companies, and has graduated more than 120 PhD students and postdoctoral fellows.  His contributions also include authoring the best-selling book “RF MEMS: Theory, Design and Technology” and his invention of the silicon phased-array chips which are used today in all satellite communications and in 5G mm-wave base-stations and user equipment.
