Wearable Sensing 

Wearable Sensing is looking for an efficient and fast learning intern with a perfectionist personality and a detail-oriented attitude. The intern will be involved in many aspects of manufacturing, as the internship presents the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, including assembly, soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of headsets and related products, as well as inventory management and implementing rigorous Quality Assurance procedures. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assembly, soldering, and testing of electronic boards, sensors and electrodes.

  • Mechanical assembly, wiring, and testing of headsets and systems.

  • Troubleshooting manufacturing bugs and repair of damaged products.

  • Verification and validation testing, system and field testing and other support activities.

Skills and requirements:

The successful candidate will have strengths in following areas:

  • Self-driven individual who is meticulous and dedicated to excellence in workmanship.

  • Responsible and independent worker that strives to resolve issues and complete projects on time.

  • Fluency in English, and capable of following complex procedures and maintenance of work logs.

  • Flexible team-player with good communication and computer skills.

Wearable Sensing is a San-Diego based company focused on the development of applications of dry electrode EEG sensor technology.  Our first products are wearable mobile EEG headsets that are renowned for their excellent signal quality and usability.  These easy-to-use and comfortable headsets are opening the door to innovative applications in commercial domains including neuroergonomics, augmented cognition, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), neuromarketing, peak-performance training, and more.  Our office environment is friendly and relaxed, but that is thanks to our team’s highly self-motivated and perfectionist work ethic.
