The LebNet Toronto community will be hosting two talks given by Hisham Ghostine and Pele Dagher. Ghostine will talk about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and whether they will solve the struggle of linguistics and semantics in a fast-changing digital economy. Dagher will share his journey with the audience and talk about his company Pawpular App Inc, a pet society and pet services app.

Speakers

Hisham Ghostine


A trilingual marketing and advertising professional with over 20 years of experience developed across multinational companies. Prior to moving to Canada, Ghostine was the Chief Revenue & Growth Officer for Omnicom Media Group in the Middle East and Africa growing the Omnicom network footprints through acquisition and new operations. Currently, Ghostine is the President – Media Brands at Dentsu Aegis Network Canada . In his role, he is responsible for 7 media and performance companies, more than 400 talents and an overall ad billing of 1.6B CAD. Ghostine holds an MBA from Rotman school of management - University of Toronto.


Pele Dagher


Pele Dagher is the founder and CEO of Pawpular App Inc., a pet society and pet services app with the head office located in Toronto, Canada. Dagher is a graduate of Schulich School of Business where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration and a certification of Computer Technology from the Ontario Institute of Information Technology. He founded Pawpular App Inc. as an option to assist Pet Parents with the rising costs to maintain healthy pets. Having spent 18 years founding and growing businesses with 8 years in high tech roles; Dagher moved full steam ahead in his passion for pets and helping fellow pet parents.
